Social Committee Meeting Updates

The Social Committee met on July 23rd and had a very productive (and fun!) first meeting. We've decided to aim for approx. one main social event per month when possible, and we have tentatively picked dates and activities for the remainder of 2021. See below for a tentative event schedule for August - October (subject to change):

• 19-Aug: Food Truck Picnic on the Green (dubbed "Third Thursday" event which we plan to keep going monthly while it's warm enough)
• 22-Aug: Kickball Party
• 16-Sept: Third Thursday Food Truck night
• 02-Oct: Wine & Cheese    (This is technically the September event but had to be pushed to early Oct due to scheduling conflicts.)
• 21-Oct: Third Thursday Food Truck night
• 30-Oct: Fall Fest

We have already begun planning the August events and have created a flyer (copy is attached) and blog post (below) to start getting the word out about our main kickball event.
