April 21st | "Third Thursday" Food Truck Night (with Dough Head Waffles) - 5-7pm
Monthly food truck nights are back in Veranda for 2022! Join us on Thursday April 21st for the first "Third Thursday" food truck night of the year. The wildly popular Dough Head Stuffed Waffles food truck will be parked along the Playground Green on Banner Dr from 5-7pm.
We hope to see you there for an evening of delicious food, music, and fun with friends! Unable to make it to the Third Thursday in April? The Veranda Social Committee plans to host a monthly food truck night on the third Thursday of the month while the weather stays warm. August 22nd | Veranda Kickball Party - 3-6pm
Let's say "so long" to summer with an afternoon of family fun! Join us on August 22nd from 3-6pm for a Veranda Kickball Party on the Playground Green. With a 6 and under bounce house, food trucks, music, and more, there will be fun to be had by the whole family! Bottled water will be provided by the Veranda Social Committee.
Please be sure to RSVP to [email protected] by Sunday August 15th. Unable to make the family fun day in August? Mark your calendars for the annual Veranda Wine & Cheese Night (adults only) on Saturday October 2nd from 5-9pm. The Social Committee met on July 23rd and had a very productive (and fun!) first meeting. We've decided to aim for approx. one main social event per month when possible, and we have tentatively picked dates and activities for the remainder of 2021. See below for a tentative event schedule for August - October (subject to change):
We have already begun planning the August events and have created a flyer (copy is attached) and blog post (below) to start getting the word out about our main kickball event. Please check our blog often to learn about community events!
